Brassard, Geneva Convention (Medical Item #9913500)

Early war pattern armband for the medical troops as identification. Worn on their left arm, however there are known pictures showing medics wearing such a armband on both their arms and/or on their M1 Helmets.
These early war armbands can be easily recognized by the fancy stitching of the red medical cross onto the white cloth. Also on the backside a so-called Geneva stamp is applied. Later in the war these stamps were left out.
